Premio a la creatividad: UAPA PREMIA CREATIVIDAD LITERARIA CON EL III CONCURSO DE CUENTOS
Es una iniciativa para fomentar la lectura en los estudiantes
SANTO DOMINGO.- Con el objetivo de incentivar la creatividad literaria y fomentar la lectura de la comunidad universitaria, la Universidad Abierta para Adultos (UAPA) celebró su III Concurso de Cuentos Cortos, en el que resultaron ganadores con los primeros lugares: Franklin Valdez de León, Héctor Antonio Brea Gil y Eloy Alberto Tejera.
En el primer lugar la obra ganadora fue ´Magdalena de Proust´ de la autoría de Franklin Valdez; el segundo recayó en Héctor Antonio Brea con la propuesta ´´ Columbario ´´ y el tercer lugar de Eloy Alberto Tejera con el cuento ´´La piedra ´´, quienes se mostraron orgullosos de ganar la tercera versión del certamen literario, iniciativa de la universidad pionera en educación a distancia virtual del país.
Con Mención de Honor fueron seleccionados por el jurado: Adam Agustín Cepeda ( con la obra ´Aun sigo aquí), Robinet Rodríguez Ortiz ( Carmelia) , Werlin Andrés Méndez ( El lado oscurso de la esperanza ), Walnert Alexander Martínez ( el recuerdo de la una dalia ), Jefferson Elías Castro ( Andrés ), Grisell Altagracia Salcedo Susurros del pasado)y Miledys Mendoza Holguín ( En la mesa de nuestros antepasados).
Además, Sharenny Henríquez Eusebio ( La casa de mi abuela ), Marleny Soto de la Cruz ( La hija de Vicky), Joalan Encarnación Villanueva ( Big Ben & Haydn), Stacy Altagracia Marte (Hora de dormir ) y Melissa Altagracia Castro ( El club de los elevados ).
El coordinador del concurso Mario Torres, director de Biblioteca, resaltó la importancia de este tipo de iniciativa para promover la cultura, el pensamiento crítico y creativo en los participantes: ´este concurso es una muestra del compromiso de la UAPA con la formación integral de nuestros jóvenes´´, afirmó el directivo.
Asimismo, valoró la respuesta ante la convocatoria que superó más de 500 interesados y 150 obras presentadas, que fueron ponderadas por el jurado evaluador, integrado por los destacados escritores: Silvana Almonte, José Adolfo Pichardo y Andrés Acevedo, junto a un equipo de evaluadores anónimos. ´´ En esta versión predominó la diversidad de temáticas y estilos literarios presentes en las obras participantes demostrando un alto nivel de creatividad de los participantes, coincidieron los miembros del Jurado. El acto de premiación, realizado en el Recinto Santo Domingo Oriental de la UAPA, contó con la presencia de autoridades universitarias, escritores, participantes y amantes de la literatura. En el encuentro, se realizaron diversas actividades culturales que enriquecieron la experiencia de los asistentes.
